February 26th, 2010What Color Scheme Should I Use For My Christmas Tree This Year?
My mother in law and I are Christmas fanatics and we have decoration contests every year. What scheme/theme should I use for my tree this year. Last year I used ice blue and white. She used red and the year before she used black and silver.

I used blue, white and silver last year too
this year we are using pine cones spray painted gold, real cranberry garland, red glass ball ornaments, and red/green plaid bows made out of ribbon. we are also only using white lights.
green and silver or green and gold would look cool too

Why not skip what I refer to as a theme tree? They are so unimaginative and seem like they came right out of a store window. To me a classic tree has many different ornaments, some store bought, others homemade often by one’s children or grandchildren.

light green and silver. You should get the flock stuff (the spray on snow) and decorate it with that. You can spray the christmas tree with flock and then do green and silver garland all ovr. Hope i helped..GOOD LUCK!
